Thaqalayn Muslim Association at the University of Michigan - Dearborn

TMA prides itself on being one of the most active and vibrant groups in the UMD campus community.  Through our events and the literature we distribute, we hope to properly represent the School of Ahlul Bayt (as) in the university setting.

Why should you get involved?

Spreading the message of Ahlul Bayt (as) is a challenge in an academic environment, but it is the importance of this challenge that keeps us going.  We are students, just like you, and we welcome everyone into the TMA family!  That is why we are asking you to become involved with TMA.  It is our duty to work to spread the message of truth and to dispel misconceptions about our beautiful faith.  Islamophobia affects us all, and we are all obligated to combat it through the wisdom and teachings of the Holy Prophet (saw) and the Ahlul Bayt (as).

How do you get involved?

That’s easy: show up!  TMA meets weekly, and we are always encouraging new members to attend for a fresh and diverse perspective.  We also hold events regularly throughout the semester, bringing world-renowned speakers to cover very pertinent topics in an academic setting.  This is YOUR organization, let’s get things done together!
